Precise Technology was established in Cambridge, Ontario, by Tufail Zafar after more than a decade of hands-on consulting across enterprise IT environments. The company grew from a fundamental observation: mid-market organizations across manufacturing, logistics, nutraceuticals, and regulated industries need the same caliber of technology leadership that large enterprises rely on, but without the burden of maintaining a full internal IT department.
What began as a solo consulting practice focused on ERP deployments and infrastructure stabilization has evolved into a comprehensive IT services firm serving clients across Southern Ontario and beyond. Tufail Zafar has spent over two decades at the intersection of business strategy and technical execution. His career has been defined by a singular focus: stabilizing complex enterprise environments, bringing them to production readiness, and keeping them there. He leads ERP implementations, cloud migrations, and digital transformation programs with structured governance, financial discipline, and clear delivery milestones.
His technical depth spans the full lifecycle of enterprise systems. He has designed and delivered platforms across supply chain management, procurement, inventory control, order management, finance, and CRM. These are not controlled-environment demonstrations. They are production systems built to perform under real operational load across manufacturing, logistics, and compliance-driven industries in Southern Ontario and beyond.
Security has been foundational to his practice since the beginning. Every environment he architects incorporates zero-trust principles, firewall hardening, endpoint detection and response, Microsoft 365 and identity security, vulnerability management, and incident response protocols aligned with NIST frameworks and PIPEDA requirements.
Beyond project delivery, Tufail serves as a fractional IT Director for small and mid-sized businesses. This model provides organizations with senior-level infrastructure oversight, vendor management, strategic IT direction, and escalation support without the cost of a full internal technology department. He takes ownership of IT strategy, risk management, and operational resilience, leading across infrastructure, cybersecurity, cloud, networking, and application development.
