Database Engineer Distribution Management System (DMS) Remote - (Afternoon Shift)

Job Responsibilities:
- Install and patch SQL Server software, and maintain databases
- Manage all SQL Server environments, ensuring our users can run the systems and are protected from failure
- Ensure all database changes follow the organization’s change management procedures and are documented
- Provide Ad-hoc database requests to support the business and application teams
- Troubleshoot database issues individually or with other team members.
- Create performance and tuning strategies to resolve performance issues.
- Manage many SQL Server instances in DEV, UAT, and PROD environments.
- Follow industry database best practices and be aware of database security
- Work with the Security team to ensure database environments fulfill their Audit requirement.
- Support the operations of our businesses and be able to take on-call rotation.
Qualifications:
- An understanding of RDBMS concepts
- Experience managing SQL Server in a Windows Failover Cluster environment
- Experience in backup and restore, database refresh, performance, and tuning.
- Experience with Microsoft SSIS, SSRS, Agent Jobs.
- Good understanding of High Availability and Disaster Recovery
- Knowledge in Network, Storage, Backup, and Virtualization
- Experience with Oracle and Postgres
- 2+ years working with Microsoft SQL Server
- 2+ years working in Windows Server environment

Project Manager Distribution Management System (DMS) Remote - (Afternoon Shift)
This position is a Project Manager working to develop new and extend existing applications in the company portfolio. You will work closely with various departments within the organization to design and build end user facing applications, data integration, and reporting solutions using industry leading tools. You will be required to work on multiple concurrent projects. In addition, you will also be responsible for the ongoing maintenance and support of the applications.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop Microsoft 365 applications and solutions using Power Automate (Flow), Power Apps, SharePoint, Azure services
- Debug, fix, improve existing workflows and solutions and suggest changes.
- Retire existing legacy applications and implement custom solutions to leverage various Microsoft 365 services.
- Design and implement logical and physical data models and solutions to support reporting systems and analysis.
- Develop data integration and ETL/ELT solutions between our various databases and business systems.
- Assist in applying system solutions to business problems through the design and programming of Dynamics 365.
Skills
- PMP PMI Certified
- Strong understanding of Power Automate (Flow), Power Apps, SharePoint
- DevOps, JavaScript, HTML5, CSS, ASP.NET
- Mobile web optimization techniques
- API development and Integration
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft BI technology (SSRS, SSIS, SSAS and Power BI).
- Knowledge of database architecture and design principles and various database management systems (MS SQL Server, Azure SQL, DB2, MySQL)
- Very strong understanding of MS SQL Server, T-SQL, and relational databases.
- Knowledge of how to design, develop and test Microsoft Dynamics CRM, APIs, Workflows, and integrations.
- Agile Tools related experience: Confluence, Jira
- Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in IT related field.
- Software development experience in Healthcare and Manufacturing is an asset
- 3+ years of Microsoft Power Apps / Power Automate / Power Platform experience, SharePoint. Certification is a plus.
- 3+ years building and developing data integration ETL workflows from multiple sources including not limited to MS SQL Server, Azure SQL, DB2, MySQL, flat files, JSON, APIs.
- Knowledge in Microsoft enterprise cloud technologies such as Dynamics 365 CRM, Office 365 and Microsoft Azure
Agile developer experience
- Ability to work in a fast paced and dynamic team environment.
- Proven ability to meet deadlines and take initiative.
- Must be highly fluent in English with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
